Type a casting name while you are standing at the peg. Matches the casting, the series, the color and the notes at once.
What this mockup is. Every filter, the search, the sort, the table, the CSV export and the drawer all work right now, running on 60 invented records held in this one file. Nothing saves. The point is to agree on the shape of the thing before any of it gets built for real.
The real collection is about 5,000 cars. So this is roughly one percent of it, which is the right amount to judge the interface on. At 5,000 records the facet counts in the left column stop being decoration and become the main way you navigate, and the duplicates number stops being trivia and becomes the sell list.
What the real version changes. The 60 records become his actual collection in a database, records get photos, edits stick, and it opens on a phone in a store aisle. The catalogue gets seeded from the slow-pan video pass rather than typed in by hand, because nobody is hand-typing five thousand rows. That process is written up in plan/VIDEO-TO-SPREADSHEET.md, and the full field list is in plan/INVENTORY-SCHEMA.md.
